*** Woensdag 23 november 2022 - De Commissie Financiën binnen de Tweede Kamer debatteerde vandaag over de ontwerpkeuzes van de digitale euro. Een cruciaal debat vanuit ons parlement, dat ging over de toekomst van programmeerbaar geld en onze privacy.
*** Econome Jelena Posthuma neemt ons mee in de belangrijkste uitkomsten van het debat. Kan er überhaupt nog iets veranderen aan de Nederlandse implementatie van dit passie project bedacht door de EU en het WEF?
*** Daarnaast zal politiek verslaggever Bert Brandsma een update geven over zijn bevindingen over het debat. - Uit interne overheidscommunicatie blijkt dat ambtenaren grote moeite hadden met de digitale toegangs- en testbewijzen van toenmalig VWS-minister Hugo de Jonge.
Ook de Digitale Begeleidingscommissie sprak zich uit tegen het voorgenomen beleid waarna het begin van dit jaar opgeheven werd.

- Naast de digitale euro is ook de ontwikkeling van de 'Known Traveler Digital Identity' – het KTDI – in een stroomversnelling geraakt. In mei van dit jaar heeft blckbx dit initiatief besproken, maar nu bevestigen KLM en Schiphol dat er een pilot van het KTDI gaat starten in februari.

- De Biomedische Rekenkamer eist dat het RIVM de ruwe data vrijgeeft van hun rekenmodellen waaruit kan blijken of de coronamaatregelen effectief zijn geweest. Het RIVM weigert dit vooralsnog omwille van privacy-gevoelige informatie. Vandaag vond de tweede zitting hierover plaats en wetenschapper Cyril Wentzel duidt deze zaak.
- Jeugdartsen signaleren toenemende stress bij middelbare scholieren. Uit onderzoek van de Kinderombudsman blijkt dat kinderen zich meer en meer zorgen maken om het klimaat en de oorlog in Oekraïne. Gezondheidspsycholoog Huibrecht Boluijt ziet een trend waar kinderen steeds vaker belast worden met zaken die door ouders en de media worden geagendeerd.
- Onze leefomgeving wordt overspoeld door giftige stoffen, zo stelt toxicoloog Abel Arkenbout. Zo bevatten onder andere mondkapjes grote hoeveelheden PFAS, een toxische stofgroep. Met Toxicowatch strijdt Arkenbout tegen de verspreiding van deze en andere giftige stoffen.
