My cousin, who lives in Portland, is a life-long Democrat. He has his house and garden festooned with Democrat posters but only for the reason that he doesn't want to be targeted by BLM and Antifa activists. For the first time in his life he is voting Republican. He tells me that nearly all his Democrat-supporting neighbours feel the same way and will also be voting for Trump.
My best friends 65 year old husband with asthma contracted COVID along with his 94 year old mother. They went to hospital and he was released same day and told to take Tylenol. He suffered flu symptoms throughout the night and the next day he wanted to cut the grass! His 94 year old mother stayed in the hospital 3 days and enjoyed her stay and went home! So you see call a virus call it a flu and in this case...absolutely no problem! Beware of Fear Porn!
I voted for Trump. And for the first time in about thirty years, I voted Republican. I just cannot accept the horribleness occurring in this Country. It makes me ashamed that I was not aware of the evilness occurring. I feel so irresponsible.
Trump a Politician? Maybe a Statesmen would be a better description.
My Auntie has COVID. She's surviving and has heart disease, kidney failure and diabetes. She's on oxygen and in the hospital but she's surviving!! ?
I'm a lifelong Libertarian, and for the first time in my life, I voted for every single republican that was on the ticket. FWIW.
